At the
very beginning of 2012 I felt a little gloomy because, unlike 2011, I was
starting off the year not knowing when anyone would be coming to visit NYC (and
us of course) nor did I know when I (we) would be heading West to visit.
But the calendaring all started to come together, first, with the wonderful news that Taylor and Kate would visit the end of March and than with Lindsey and Adam announcing they were going to bring the girls and come in May. We were delighted.
When it occurred to me that both Dallin and Whitlie were going to be
graduating in April, I found my first reason for justifying the expense of
heading west. I booked my round trip ticket for the last two weeks of April
and away I went. Now I am able to
look forward to other trips before the year’s end. But I’ll tell about them in my next entry. Life is good, but
when we are able to share it with those we love, life is better than good.
